What TalentsGrid does
TalentsGrid is an AI hiring copilot for freelance recruiters and small teams: it scores each CV against your job with quotes as evidence, turns gaps into interview questions, and keeps your candidate data yours.
I build it around two promises that carry equal weight.
- Every score comes with evidence. For each requirement you see the quote from the CV behind it, so you can defend a shortlist to a client or a hiring manager. The AI recommends and you decide. It never accepts or rejects a candidate on its own.
- Your data stays yours. Keep CVs in your own Google Drive or in TalentsGrid managed storage, and export your candidates to CSV whenever you want. TalentsGrid does not use your CVs to train AI models.

Who is behind it
I am Dinh Truong, the founder. TalentsGrid is built by one person, based in Vietnam. I write this blog myself. The product is bilingual, English and Vietnamese, and I start with Vietnamese freelance headhunters and solo recruiters, then small teams such as software outsourcing companies.

Why I started with data ownership
Many recruitment tools keep your CVs on their own servers. Switch providers, and getting the files back is hard. I wrote about the day I lost my candidate records in this post (in Vietnamese) and about the broader problem in ATS vendor lock-in.
